In Place des Arcades, Biot, a small tomato, a fennel, an eggplant,
a pomegranate with ruby red seeds and a white head of garlic are earthenware wonders. Martine Polisset, obviously in a green mood one day, found her inspiration in nature. She thought about harvesting, tasting, sharing the delicacies, magnifying the forms, she transformed a black truffle into a magnificent voluptuous heroine.
Today she purifies, simplifies and sublimates the vegetable and oceanic worlds. A yellow coral resembles a lagoon sunset, pitchers with painted lips pour poetic water, an amazonian red matrix evokes the creation of the world, a teapot becomes a heart. Ceramic, bronze, glaze, abstract sculptures emerge from the fire inspiring and free.

À Biot, place des Arcades, petite tomate, fenouil, aubergine, grenade aux grains rouges et blanche tête d’ail sont des bonheurs de faïence. Martine Polisset, sans doute d’humeur potagère, trouva un jour l’inspiration dans la nature. Elle pensa cueillette, goût, partage et gourmandise, agrandit les formes, fit d’une truffe noire une héroïne aux rondeurs de géant.
Aujourd’hui, elle épure, simplifie et sublime, du végétal au marin. Un corail jaune semble un soleil de lagon, des pichets aux lèvres peintes versent une eau de poésie, une Matrice au rouge amazonien évoque la naissance du monde, une théière devient cœur. Céramique, bronze, émail, des sculptures abstraites naissent du feu, émouvantes et libres.
